University applications and early admission: University applications open Oct 1. IB STUDENT TESTIMONIALS

"Being a part of the IB programme helped me immensely in university! Writing essays and research papers has been a fundamental part of my post-secondary studies (Bachelor and Master degrees). Having been exposed to academic writing, research and citing within the IB programme gave me a very big advantage when starting my studies. Simply put, IB provides the tools and fosters the critical thinking needed for university and beyond."  - Daria Aron, Full IB Grad 2021

"The IB programme has benefited me in several ways during my time as a university student. One of the most important was when I entered first year; I was accustomed to a similar workload from taking IB and so I found the adjustment to university a bit easier. Additionally, the transfer credit that I received from my IB courses helped to satisfy some of my degree requirements, which has given me the opportunity to take more option classes that interest me. I would strongly recommend the IB programme to any student looking to get a head start in university." - Christopher Moore, Full IB Grad 2022

"The true value of the International Baccalaureate (IB) program was in the exam preparation and writing skills acquired. Not only were IB diploma exams a similar style to those in university (both were entirely written responses), but I was also able to apply the study methods I developed during IB to succeed in first-year classes. Furthermore, the internal assessments I wrote during the IB program provided me with skills I have applied to my current research projects. Finally, the program provided me with the opportunity to expand my network with other IB alumni." - Savanna Tippe, Full IB Grad 2023

"IB highlights the importance of time management. A lot of my classes follow a hybrid format (pre-recorded or online) and come with the expectation of doing work on my own time, staying on track and meeting deadlines. IB encourages students to develop their own learning strategies and helps them have a better understanding of what works and what doesn’t. It eases you into the university lifestyle and prepares you for some of the challenges." - Camille Brown, Full IB Grad 2023
