Fill our hearts with gratitude so that we approach each day with hope, positivity, and trust in you.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Generous God,
During Lent we remember that true fasting leads us to care more deeply for others. Today we try to fast from selfishness.

Help the community of Archbishop MacDonald High School to look beyond our own needs and to notice those around us who may need encouragement, friendship, or support.

Teach us to serve one another with generous hearts so that our actions reflect your love in our classrooms, hallways, and teams.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Good morning MAC! My name is _____ from Peer Support. Today for Neurodiversity Celebration Week, are highlighting Sir Isaac Newton! As you may know, he was a famous scientist who developed ideas like gravity and the laws of motion. Many historians believed him  to have shown traits associated with ADHD and autism. His unique way of thinking helped change how we understand the universe. Today’s message is that different ways of thinking can lead to amazing discoveries. Have a great day MAC!

Merciful God,
You remind us during Lent to look at others with compassion and understanding. Today we try to fast from judging others.

Help us at Archbishop MacDonald High School to see each person the way you see them—with dignity, worth, and love. When we are tempted to criticize or exclude others, help us instead to choose kindness and empathy.

May our school community be a place where everyone feels welcomed, accepted, and supported.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Tuesday March 17th

Good morning MAC! My name is _____ from Peer Support. To continue our celebration of Neurodiversity Awareness Week, we will be talking about Emma Watson, who is best known for playing Hermoine Granger in the Harry Potter film series and has shared that she has ADHD. ADHD can affect attention and organization, but it can also bring creativity, energy, and unique ways of thinking. Her success reminds us that differences in how our brains work can be powerful strengths. Have a great day MAC!

May the road rise to meet you, may the wind be always at your back, may the sun shine warm upon your face, the rains fall soft upon your fields and, until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand

Gracious God,
In this Lenten season, we are called to make space in our lives for you. Today we try to fast from distractions that pull our attention away from what truly matters.

Help the students and staff of Archbishop MacDonald High School to focus on learning, relationships, and growing in faith. Give us the discipline to be present in our classes, on our teams, and in our friendships.

May this time of Lent help us slow down, listen for your voice, and recognize your presence in our school community.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen

Despite those challenges, he has become one of the most successful filmmakers in history. Today’s reminder is that learning differences don’t limit your potential, they’re just part of what makes each person unique. Tomorrow, Peer Support will be hosting a highly anticipated nap time and relaxation PLT for you and you’re friends to take a break from school or anything causing you stress, so make sure you sign up before spaces fill up! Loving God,
During this season of Lent, you call us to grow closer to you through prayer, fasting, and acts of love. Today we try to fast from negative words.

Help us at Archbishop MacDonald High School to choose words that build others up instead of tearing them down. Teach us to speak with kindness, patience, and encouragement to our classmates, teachers, and friends.

May our words reflect your love and make our school a place where everyone feels respected and valued.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
